The Story Behind Our Partnership with Killis
Many of my clients and connections have asked why I decided to partner with Killis to supply, distribute, and service Kaivac equipment. For me, this partnership is more than a business decision; it’s a personal mission to bring the best cleaning solutions to our clients. Here is the full backstory:
The Back Story
Rawlins has been well-known for many years for our supply of cleaning machines across the UK. We have had significant successes with several brands and began moving towards innovation when James White took over as Managing Director. When I joined Rawlins, James introduced me to several brands he saw as game changers in the industry.
With a shared drive for innovation, James and I understood the absolute need for a change in cleaning processes and the basics of cleaning that needed to be taught in the industry. After a few years of searching for the best solution that aligned with our values and vision, we found a brand in our offering that ticked all the boxes: Kaivac!
Why Kaivac?
I could write a book on this subject, but to keep it brief, it’s simple: Kaivac is not just another brand or machine; it is a vision. This vision stems from the creators’ roots and their commitment to innovation. Kaivac does what it promises: it cleans!
Kaivac has given me a platform to share my vision with the industry. By understanding the cleaning process Kaivac was developed on, we can clean effectively in the simplest way. Cleaning is the removal of unwanted soils, and all Kaivac machines are built for ultimate soil removal. The manufacturer not only developed several machines that deliver quality cleans but also made them easy to use, keeping the cleaners’ needs in mind.
Kaivac’s science-based hygienic cleaning systems protect the health of building occupants while raising the value of cleaning operations. Their machines are meticulously engineered to tackle the toughest cleaning challenges, ensuring facilities are cleaner and safer. With personalised training and support, Kaivac empowers users to achieve outstanding results quickly and efficiently. Proven to remove up to 60 times more soil than traditional methods, Kaivac machines truly revolutionise the cleaning process.
Why I Chose Killis?
Rawlins, as a business and I personally, have had great success with Kaivac in the UK. Understanding the necessity for a larger team or a partner with the same vision for the industry, I have always believed that true progress comes from working together, not just within our company but across the entire industry. This belief is something I hold dear, shaped by my personal experiences and the partnerships I’ve formed throughout my career.
I have never seen myself as a competitor to larger suppliers like Killis or other well-known machine suppliers. How could I be, as I sell Kaivac and not scrubber dryers? In fact, I firmly believe that Kaivac and many scrubbers complement each other. I started approaching some well-known suppliers with the idea of partnering and working together to make a difference.
On several occasions, I felt I was making progress, but the perception of me and Kaivac as competitors always prevailed. This was quite disheartening, as it seemed the industry was more concerned with moving machines than with making a real difference. I believed that our focus should be on delivering the best service and equipment to our clients, ensuring their success and satisfaction.
When I met with Tibor and discussed the subject, it was a lightbulb moment. Our one-hour meeting extended into several hours as we connected over our shared vision for the cleaning industry. I was moved by the passion and commitment Killis has for the industry. As I shared my goals, it became clear that Killis and Rawlins were an ideal match.
What Will Change?
With this partnership, you will benefit from greater access to Kaivac machines and a comprehensive servicing programme. Killis has a skilled team in the field committed to client support, and now Rawlins clients will experience the same high-quality service. I will persist in promoting the Kaivac brand and supporting initiatives to educate the industry on effective cleaning processes.
How Can You Buy A Kaivac Machine?
Killis has an open day where they will officially launch Kaivac on the 7th of November this year. In the meantime, you can contact them for more information or register to visit the open day in Sheffield. As usual, I am also available, so you can contact me directly.
